Update from Price Rupert, the hub of civilization on the North Coast
By Bob Frank

Yesterday was my driest day to date, today was the wettest! For the record it did not precipitate during my day yesterday, a first. Just after I went to bed last night it started raining hard, it didn't let up until an hour ago or so. I've reached Prince Rupert B.C., tomorrow I catch a ferry south to Port Hardy, Vancouver Island. I've got just over 1200 miles behind me, 400? to go. Add two small black bears to the wildlife total. They say it might get nicer weatherwise, I'm not holding my breath. I did get to see some amazing mountains (yesterday) and dozens of waterfalls, today. I've got to wake up at 5:30 a.m. to catch the ferry so until next time,

take care,

-bob
