Thanks to everyone who supported me, first off to
my family, (My sister Carrie for posting updates on the website,
my brother Chris for his technical support, mom for managing my
mone, dad for keeping everyone sane). Thanks to all my friends and,
especially, Dennis Snader who traveled with me for the first 14
months. If it weren’t for Dennis I may never have had the
courage to leave. Special thanks to LB, who kept my pedals spinning
by sending me over a hundreds emails full of love and encouragement.
Thanks to my other inspirational cycling companions: Dick and Ingrid,
Forrest MacCormack, Dan Lazin, Debbie Marriott, Edwin Tucker, Matt
Bell, Stefanie May. Thanks to the thousands of other people whose
kindness and hospitality have been a tribute to humanity -- there
was always an earthly or heavenly guardian angel when I needed one.
Thanks to my armchair fans. And, a special thanks to everyone who
said I couldn’t do it and that I didn’t really want
to do it and that I was a fool for trying --- a big Pbthhh to you!!
