I am in Goa in India
I have two new bicycling companions. Women! Quite a change from Dennis.
It is already turning into a lesson in patience and listening. After
Debbie was done talking to me I said, "Can I do my laundry now?" You
can imagine how this didn't make a very good impression. Seriously, It
is nice to have companions to compare perspectives.
I broke a gear on my bicycle. I just spent 350 dollars replacing these
parts, preventative maintenance so I thought. But the Greeks didn't put
it together correctly, combined with the Indians slamming my bike
around, my drive train froze and I snapped my easiest gear.
Anyway since I will be waiting for my spare part anyone who cares to
send me a package Post Restante can.
The details: If possible don't use real stamps with pictures because
they will be stolen and the package thrown away. Be careful when
filling out the customs form. If people think there is something
valuable or useful it will be stolen. Conversely, if you mislabel it,
the package will be rerouted to Bombay. Taxes need to be paid on your
end or I won't receive it. Supposedly this service is reliable.
